A couple of weeks back I posted a cover of an REI catalog

from 1994. Like I mentioned, here are some highlights:

My all time favorite adidas sneakers (on the right). Unfortunately these

were never re-released, I remember they were available at woodbury

commons back in 92/93. I also know that this here model is the 2nd

version, because I do recall the first model had less detailed accents.

I'd pair these with a triple sandblasted pair of denim jeans and a bold

navy & red rugby. score!

If you were in new york before 98, you would know what impact

these made on the streets of nyc. The sundowner is still available

online and at your finer ski or outdoor shops.

AUDIE U5 was one of my favortite writers.

He bombed East New York/Bushwick/Brooklyn hard body.

I took this photo back in '96, when I borrowed my dads

pentax k1000. My dad wanted me to go out and shoot the

scenery, I ended up taking pics of some graff that's pretty much

extinct today in e.n.y brooklyn.

Growing up graffiti was like art-school for me, admiring hand-styles,

abstract typographical solutions and observing color schemes

was the ultimate!

This AUDIE U5 throwee is by far one of my all time favorites!

The originality was superb!

I've seen a few different-dope AUDIE throwees on roofs

building and gates. His tag alone is illmatic.
