In the early 90's I would always run into Peter Oasis.
I didn't know Peter personally but I would see him
everywhere, in East New York Brooklyn, West 4th street,
8th street, The Tunnel, Fatbeats and the list goes on.
In 1997, Peter started LiveNdirect a party/event company
that was one of the reasons why NYC had and still has the
best hip hop events to attend.
I met Peter a couple of years back, we've been friends since.
It so happens we have a lot of mutual friends.
I asked him if I could interview him because he played a huge
role in shaping the NYC party scene, he said "Im down, but
I think it should be audio". I was all for it.
The interview was done this past summer 2010 and now its
officially ready!
